Located in central Iowa, in the small town of Eldora, resides any horse person’s dream…fields filled with colorful Paint horses! These are the fields that Reisinger Farms built. You see…the “build it and they will come” adage does apply to the real world. From up out of corn fields…you’ll see big fat broodmares approach in this real life version. From spring to fall the seasons are pronounced not by the trees or the sky but by the broodmares and their companions. Spring brings fields and stalls brimming mares and youngsters trying out their new legs. Fall brings pens of babies halter broke and on their way to adulthood. If you’re a Paint Horse breeder, shower or admirer…there’s bound to be something for you in the stalls, pens and fields where hundreds of mares, babies and performance prospects call home.

Since 1963 an old dairy farm has been home to this breeders’ haven. Behind the newly revamped white farmhouse is the heart of the operation…the main barn and offices. The main barn has 26 heated stalls, the breeding lab and access to the indoor arena and offices.
